Primitive Technology Weekend
Our 2nd annual Primitive Technology Weekend was held on Saturday and Sunday, May 6-7, 2017 for the purpose of sharing knowledge and hands-on experience in the replication of items composed of stone, bone, wood, and natural fibers. Guest speakers and presenters shared their specialties with us during the course of the weekend.
Fall Harvest Festival
This festival is held the 2nd weekend in October, on Saturday the 14th this year, with the 15th as a rain date. We have animals and demonstrations related to the harvest, games, crafts, music, pony and hay rides, etc.
Holiday Open House
This event is held the first Saturday in December in the Sherwood House, which we decorate in the holiday spirit. Once again, we offer fun family crafts, music, and cookie decoration. Mr. and Mrs. Santa also grace us with their appearance. Because of the limited size of the Sherwood House, we ask that reservations be made in advance and request $2 per person. Come enjoy this festive occasion!

Night out with Nature Series
This Friday evening series touches on various nature-oriented subjects. We bring in speakers who are experts in interesting subjects for lectures that are intended for adults. Reservations are required and the fee is $10 per person or $15 for two. Check our home page for schedule and info.
Throughout the year, there are numerous other events held in the Park, but these are sponsored by outside organizations, so detailed information about them must be obtained from the groups that are putting them on.
