Accessible Trail
In 2019, Cromwell Valley Park Council installed an accessible trail for those with mobility issues and / or using a wheelchair. With a large financial donation from the Halten Garden Club in honor of their centennial celebration and a memorial gift from the Lillian D. Jenifer family, the trail was constructed at the entrance of the Willow Grove Nature Center.
Using an educational grant from the State Highways Administration, six educational panels were installed covering the following topics:
- Life on the edge of a woodland
- Unique environment of wetlands
- Different nesting habits of birds
- Plants that make this meadow home
- Importance of the smallest creatures
