NOWN – Heroes of Conservation – The Legacy and Messages for Today

April 5 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Loren Lustig dedicated his life to conservation work as a young teenager in the early 1960s and has worked as a wildlife biologist, park naturalist, resource manager, and environmental educator for almost 50 years. He has also been selected for leadership opportunities in both regional and national conservation organizations.

Loren will present information about America’s most important conservation leaders over the past 200 years. Their legacy and messages have remarkable validity and importance for 21st century Americans. Loren and his wife, Louise, live on an “Aldo Leopold” type farm north of Gettysburg, PA. They have enjoyed implementing many conservation measures on the farm, and have made it available as an environmental education and outdoor recreation site.
