Three Summer Events! Register for one or for all!
Join other 30-year olds for a casual hike (2 miles) scouting for non-migratory resident birds of Cromwell Valley Park along the Minebank Run and in some of our old-growth fields. Get your appetite whet for fall migration, with more dates coming soon!
Cost is $5 per person with all funds supporting Cromwell Valley Park Council, Inc., the 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which advocates for and supports the park.
PLEASE NOTE STARTING POINT FOR EACH DIFFERENT DATE:
Wednesday, July 22nd from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm – 30’s and birdies and burgers and beer
Sherwood Entrance, by the parking exit closest to the Sherwood House
Sunday, August 2nd 8:15 am – 10:15 am – 30’s and birdies and brunch and bloodies
McFaul’s Ironhorse Tavern Lower Lot
Saturday, August 8th – 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Sherwood Entrance
Bring your shoes (which can get wet and dirty), your binoculars and a camera for a 2 hour walk looking for summer residents and hopefully some of our remaining Baltimore Orioles.
CONSIDER ENDING YOUR HIKE BY HEADING OVER TO MCFAUL’S IRON HORSE TAVERN FOR A BITE AND A DRINK! RSVP SO WE CAN GET AN APPROPRIATELY SIZED TABLE. Cost for drinks and dinner are on your own.

PS: We don’t ask for I.D. – so if you are in you’re 21+ or in your 40’s, just come!
