Summer Camp and Nature Education Programs

2025 SUMMER NATURE CAMP

Registration begins Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 at 10am

PLEASE NOTE THAT CROMWELL VALLEY PARK COUNCIL, INC. WILL NOT BE A PART OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR 2025 AND IT WILL GO THROUGH BALTIMORE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PARKS.

Camp Chickadee  Ages: 4-5 / 9-12pm / $100 per camper
June 16, 17, 18, 20th (4 days)

Our youngest campers will use all their senses to explore the park and learn about nature by playing games, meeting animal ambassadors, making crafts, exploring streams, and getting dirty!

Camp Bluebird  Ages: 6-7 / 9-3pm / $195 per camper
Session 1: June 23 – 27th / Session 2: July 21 – 25th / Session 3: August 4 – 8th

Set out to discover the forests, gardens, meadows, and streams of Cromwell Valley Park. Campers will enjoy daily hikes, games, songs, and animal encounters.

Camp Crow  Ages: 8-9 / 9-3pm / $195 per camper
Session 1: July 7 – 11th / Session 2: July 28 – Aug 1st / Session 3: Aug 11 – 15th

Campers will explore the park while having fun with hands-on learning activities. We will be making discoveries in the streams, learning about Maryland’s natural history, playing environmental education games, and much more!

Camp Falcon Ages: 10-12 / 9-3pm / $195 per camper
July 14 – 18th

Explore the connections between humans and the natural world. Campers will learn a variety of outdoor skills and get to try out indigenous technologies, while also participating in traditional camp activities such as stream exploration, crafts, and games.

 Travelers Camp  Ages: 13-14 / 9-3pm / $300 per camper
June 30 – July 3rd (4 days)

We’re off to see the beauty of Baltimore County’s nature parks! Campers will spend one day at Cromwell Valley and then travel to a new a park each day, taking part in hiking, canoeing, historical activities, and outdoor living skills.

EACH CHILD MAY ENROLL ONLY IN ONE CAMP SESSION PER SUMMER TO ALLOW OTHER FAMILIES AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE CVP NATURE CAMPS.

Our modified in-person programs take into consideration all COVID-19 safety protocols and social distancing measures.   A range of nature discovery, arts and crafts, and animal exploration topics are available.
